BitMeter is built to be private. It does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking. Everything the app knows stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. BitMeter has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We never see your data because it never leaves your phone.

Your data stays on your device

Your plan settings and estimated usage history are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded or shared. Deleting the app removes this data.

How usage is measured

BitMeter estimates cellular data usage by reading your device's own network interface counters, entirely on-device. This measurement is used only to display your usage inside the app and its widgets, and is never transmitted anywhere.

Purchases

The optional one-time Premium purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information; BitMeter never receives or stores your payment details.

Notifications

Any alerts (such as low-data warnings) are generated and scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us or anyone else.

Children's privacy

BitMeter collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
